My sweet little daughter will have her 4th birthday this coming Tuesday, August 14. We are telling her that we are not going to celebrate it now because we don't have money to spend unlike before, and the good thing is at her very young age she didn't complain, as if, she already understand how hard to earn money :). She'll just tell me, "Mom, in case you have, I want a spaghetti and a yellow cake (her fave color)". We are secretly planning to have a simple celebration at the beach so that they can enjoy swimming and playing on the sand.
Guys, what else can you suggest or what else have you done to celebrate a very simple, less expensive but memorable birthday of someone you love dearly? :)
